About the photographed samples

The plain merino sample was knitted using two strands of Plum Burgundy PRESTIGE on a Silver Reed standard-gauge knitting machine at tension setting 0.

For a different look, the multicoloured sample combines two strands of Plum Burgundy merino with one strand of a fine multicoloured companion yarn.

The multicoloured companion yarn is sold separately, priced per 100 g, and is not included in this listing. It is too fine to knit on its own in this machine setup and works best held together with other yarns.
